About Us!
On the evening of Sunday, November 25th 2007, a well known Magicmum member had the idea of holding a charity ball for Magicmum's to give something back. The idea took off immediately, with offers from other Magicmum members; offering help, donations, services, the list is endless. Nobody ever thought Magicmum, with its 10,000 or so members, was such a melting pot of talents and experience!
Within a few hours of posting the initial idea, a committee was formed, and the organisation fun began!
The committee organised this event completely via the Internet, regularly 'meeting' online for discussions about the various aspects of the event. Where decisions became necessary, the members of Magicmum were given the option to choose! Therefore, the event has been organised by Magicmums completely!
